The River's Edge Writers is a Black-owned literary blog established in 2023 with a mission to provide opportunity and recognition to young, emerging and established writers, poets, authors and more. We strive to provide a platform to help creatives of all backgrounds gain recognition for their work.
We are committed to uplifting, not only Black voices but all voices and providing a safe, inclusive space for creative expression. Our goal is to create a community for writers to come together and share their stories, ideas, and perspectives.

The River's Edge Writers is a literary blog created by Ralph M. Edgerson Jr., an urban fiction author. Ralph has written several highly rated urban novels, including the Decision series, A Lotus Dream, and Levi's Labyrinth. If you haven't heard of them, go check them out here.
Ralph always wanted to showcase the not so popular author/writer/poet because everyone needs a spotlight on their works. Someone that admires the hard work it takes to be a creative. He created The River's Edge Writers for that very purpose.
